The university continues to receive high marks nationally for the social mobility of its graduates.A-State has more than 160 major fields of study, offered by eight colleges, at the doctoral, specialist, master's, bachelor and associate degree levels.Arkansas State's online degree program, A-State Online, is the largest online provider in the state, with more than 100 degree programs along with a new industry-focused continuing education program. While the large majority are graduate students, more than 1,500 students are currently pursuing their bachelor's degrees.The university continues to expand its research agenda through a variety of venues and institutes. And, the Arkansas State Museum, located adjacent to the Dean B. Ellis Library, is home to the only accredited natural history museum on a university campus in our state.Arkansas State is also home to the oldest NPR-member radio station west of the Mississippi River (KASU), and a century-long tradition of student-run newspaper, The Herald.The campus is one of the most vibrant in the region, and making it a safe and welcoming place is a high priority.
