2023-2024 Board Elections

As required by Article IV, Section 3 of the bylaws of the Jonesboro Regional Chamber of Commerce, six persons are proposed by the nominating committee, for the annual election on September 18, 2023, to serve a three-year term on the Board of Directors.

The nominees are:

The Jonesboro Regional Chamber of Commerce 2023 Annual Meeting will feature national speaker Rob Lawless.

His keynote is titled Discover the Untapped Value of Human Connection.

Nominate outstanding leaders in our community

The Jonesboro Regional Chamber of Commerce 2023 Annual Meeting is set for Thursday, October 5, 2023.

At the Annual Meeting, various awards are given including the Betty T. Sloan Promotion Award, the Goodwill Ambassador of the Year, Roy H. Jolly Volunteer Award, and the Ed Way Outstanding Young Professional Award.

The Betty T. Sloan Promotion Award and the Ed Way Outstanding Young Professional Award are chosen by committees and Chamber leaders through an open nomination process.

Chamber announces new class of Emerging Leaders

The Jonesboro Regional Chamber of Commerce believes that at our community’s core, the ultimate
catalyst for growth is the ability to identify, engage, and empower the right people for leadership.

We must take an aggressive approach to developing the human capital required to move our region forward.

Green Ribbon Cuttings: May 2023

The Green Business Committee celebrated three Jonesboro businesses for their dedication to sustainable business practices! The committee hosted Green Ribbon Cuttings and presented each business with the designation of being a Jonesboro Beautiful Business.

Jr. Leadership cohort announced

Join us in congratulating our 2023-2024 cohort for Junior Leadership. We are excited to have 28 juniors join us representing six school districts and the homeschool community. 

Jr. Leadership is a program for high school juniors that provides leadership and networking opportunities, exposes students to a broad spectrum of careers, develops a spirit of service, and offers a behind-the-scenes look at Jonesboro. The competitive application process is conducted by area high school counselors and the program is administered by members of the Chamber's Workforce Development Committee.

Membership Spotlight: E.C. Barton & Company

With over 50 years of membership and dedication to the Jonesboro Regional Chamber of Commerce, E.C. Barton & Company has made a wonderful example of growth through being a member of the Chamber. E.C. Barton & Company has been a member of the Jonesboro community since 1885 and is the parent company to three brands— Home Outlet, Barton’s, and Seconds and Surplus. While operating 120 stores in 19 states, the headquarters remains in Jonesboro.
