Jonesboro Area Pre-K Panel Discussion

Thursday, February 2, 2017 - 5:30pm to 7:00pm
Arkansas State University - Cooper Alumni Center

ForwARd Arkansas is joining Arkansas State University in Jonesboro to host a panel discussion on the importance of high-quality, voluntary pre-K education in Arkansas. The panel will be split into three focus areas - business leaders, policy makers and educators - and Cory Biggs, associate director of ForwARd Arkansas, will act as the panel's moderator.

The panel is FREE of charge, and everyone with a vested interest in pre-K education in Arkansas is encouraged to attend. Refreshments will be served, and free parking is available across the street from the Cooper Alumni Center.

ForwARd Arkansas is a strategic partnership between the Winthrop Rockefeller Foundation, the Walton Family Foundation, and the Arkansas Board of Education committed to improving public education in our state.

Investment in pre-K is critical to moving the needle on the vision and mission of ForwARd Arkansas: to improve student achievement at a historically ambitious yet achievable rate and close the achievement gap within a generation.
