Engineering Boot Camp

Arkansas State University will host a week-long project-based engineering boot camp for students who are in their 9th, 10, or 11th grade in the current academic year, 2020 - 2021.

The camp will host 21 participants on campus at Arkansas State University in Jonesboro.  During the camp, learn how engineering systems are developed, understand the mechanics of modeling and create your own ideas with 3D printers.  Investigate how robots are used to solve problems. Then construct your own robotic masterpiece.  Campers will learn about hands-on experimentation, SolidWorks and programmable logic controllers (PLC's).  Part of the camp will involve visits to a manufacturing facility as well as interactions with industry experts.  Participants will work as part of a team on projects, and gain experience to not only engineering skills but team buidling skills as well.  

Scholarships are available.

Students will be accepted in the order they register.

Total:  21 seats

Price:  $175.00 for the entire week
