In addition, Jonesboro is the proud home of Arkansas State University. Serving more than 11,000 students, Arkansas State University is the only comprehensive public university located in the region. The university offers degree programs ranging from associate to doctoral programs, bringing incredible talent and resources to the area. Jonesboro also has a diverse economy and serves as a hub for manufacturing, agriculture, healthcare, retail and service sectors.
