- Leadership Jonesboro is a program of the Jonesboro Regional Chamber of Commerce designed to identify, educate, and motivate potential leaders to become involved in the future of our community. Participants are challenged by speakers and resource people from many sectors to make a personal commitment to become part of the rich leadership pool, which has made Jonesboro's quality of life what it is today.
- Leadership Jonesboro brings together individuals from diverse backgrounds and experiences from the public and private sectors, who have demonstrated both talent and interest in community leadership. Face-to-face discussions with experts from a variety of local organizations and institutions provide participants a unique opportunity to examine the dynamics of social, political, and economic changes affecting community life.
- The ten month program begins in January and full day sessions are held each month. Sessions include: Orientation, State Government, History Trends and Issues, Local Economy, City/County Government, Leadership Retreat, Transportation, Media, Quality of Life, Business Etiquette, ASU, Justice System, Public Education, Social Issues, Healthcare, Industrial tours, and community visits.
The all inclusive cost is $1,495.
