The Jonesboro Regional Chamber of Commerce and the Agri-Business Committee will host the 2012 Annual Agri-Business Breakfast on February 22, 2012 at 7:00 am at the Holiday Inn - Holidome.
Mr. Bill Bridgforth of Pine Bluff will be the guest speaker discussing the 2012-2013 Farm Bill and other issues that affect our agri community. Mr. Bridgforth has specialized in agriculture law since 1971. Bill is a frequent lecturer and instructor on various topics relating to agriculture and agriculture financing before the Arkansas Institute of Continuing Legal Education, the American Agriculture Law Association and other state and national groups.
Proceeds from the breakfast will help to co-sponsor four ASU Students to travel with the Chamber on the Annual DC Fly-in. Proceeds also support the ASU College of Agriculture Student Leadership Conference, Craighead County 4-H Banquet and contributions to ASU Agricultural Scholarships.
