Calendar - November 2008

The March of Dimes will be hosting their annual Signature Chef’s Auction at 6 p.m. on Thursday November 6, 2008 at the Holiday Inn in Jonesboro. The Signature Chef’s Auction will host local restaurants, caterers and chefs.  Attendees will have the opportunity to sample the best dishes from Jonesboro.  This year’s theme will host dishes from Around the World. The evening ends with a silent auction with items from the area’s finest local businesses.  For sponsorship and ticket information contact Melissa Gann at (870-932-0300 or by email at mgann@marchofdimes.com. The March of Dimes is the leading nonprofit organization for pregnancy and baby health.  With chapters nationwide, the March of Dimes works to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality through research, education, community services and advocacy.    

The JYPN Professional Development/Communications Committee is chaired by Cody Knight and meets at the Chamber for each meeting.

The JYPN Board Meeting is held at the Chamber.

The Agri Business Committee is chaired by Jeff Gregory and meets at the Chamber for each meeting.

Mission:
To enhance the position that agriculture plays in our economy and to
communicate this to our Chamber membership and the general public.

The Board of Directors meets at the Chamber and Chairman of the Board Kevan Inboden presides over each meeting.

The Executive Committee meets at the Chamber each month.

The Business Network Committee is chaired by J.R. Blackburn and meets at the Chamber for each meeting.
