Member Highlight: Lee Quessenberry
You probably have seen the red-headed brothers at a BBQ festival, and thought to yourself, well of course they do BBQ, it’s the family business. (Might we add, pretty tasty too.) Dig deeper and you realize these brothers are highly creative and intelligent professionals that are working to change Jonesboro.
We spoke to Lee Quessenberry who works for E.C. Barton and Company. “Our business opened in 1885. I joined in 2013 as a member of Jonesboro Young Professional Network (JYPN). I wanted to join other young professionals to create a network of trusted business professionals that I can refer business to. I'm excited that a business as mature as our own is leaping forward into the future with digital marketing and I'm the one spearheading the operation. A surprise benefit I have received is the over positive growth and impact our community leaders have created.”
The chamber is all about breeding leaders and Quessenberry has taken this role quiet seriously. He’s working with Forge Arkansas which is a nonprofit organization dedicated to stimulating innovative and entrepreneurial activity by creating a collaborative ecosystem in Northeast Arkansas.
When he’s not at E.C. Bartons or with Forge, you will find the Lee working on BBQ products, showcasing his beard, designing free-lance work or downtown with family and friends at One Love People on Main Street.
The Chamber is proud to highlight members such as Lee and his work.
